Many commercially-produced DVD movies contain regional coding to prevent the playback of the disc in a geographical area other than the one in which it was released. For example, if you try to play a disc manufactured for release in China (region 6) on a Sony® DVD player meant to play discs in the United States (region 1), you will receive this error message. A majority of our movies are region 0, meaning they can play anywhere, however movies that are cloned may have a region code. These are the DVD region codes: Region 1 - Canada, the United States and U.S. territories. | Region 2 - Japan, Europe, South Africa, the Middle East (including Egypt) and Greenland. | Region 3 - Southeast Asia, and East Asia (including Hong Kong). | Region 4 - Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Central America, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean. | Region 5 - Eastern Europe, Russia, the Indian Subcontinent, Africa, North Korea, and Mongolia. | Region 6 - China. | Region 7 - reserved for unspecified special use. | Region 8 - Special international venues for air and oceanic travel.

DL-DVDs are dual layer DVDs. Regular DVDs hold up to 4.7 GB of data storage. DL_DVDs hold up to 8.5 GB of data storage. By using these disc, it allows the movies to have better quality. DL-DVDs can be read by the majority of DVD players of all types and brands, but some older dvd players are less compatible. So please be aware before purchasing a product using this type of disc.

A Cloned movie is an exact duplicate of the DVD you would get in stores. The menu and movie quality are duplicated to be the same as the manufactured disc. (Please note: Some cloned movies will have a "PLAY" button available on the menu but will not react when you click it. Don't be alarmed, the movie still works, you just need to click a secondary source such as the chapter menu or special features and play the movie through there)

DVDRIP means the movie came from a manufactured DVD. The movie has the same quality as the manufactured disc but not the menu or any other features from the original DVD. This is usually done when the original DVD has multiple movies, so the DVD is ripped to separate the movie from the others.

The resolution is the dimensions of the movies width x height. Higher resolution number means better quality. Lower resolution causes a movie to be pixelated, or what views consider blurry. If a movie is 1280 × 720 or higher it's considered high def., which is really good. If a movie is 720 × 480 it's considered okay. Anything lower than 720 × 480 can still be watchable, but the quality may not be the best. (The older the movie, the less chance of it being HD. Remember, television broadcast didn't change over to HD until late 2000s, so movie made before than may originally be standard definition)

Aspect ratio tells you if a movie is wide screen or standard. 16:9 is a widescreen movie. 4:3 is a standard screen movie. Current TVs use 16:9, old square TVs use 4:3.
