Incredible journey which focuses on a teenager and siblings who truly persevere and survive thanks to a wonderful family who adopts them and takes them away from their drug/alcohol addicted, abusive mother. The actress who played the older girl was terrific. Highly recommend.

Amazing what the children in this story endured having a dysfunctional mother with addictions. It was truly inspiring to see how the oldest child persevered and accomplished so much as well as how loving foster parents kept them all healthy and safe. Then I realized at the end it was based on a true story. WOW! Highly recommend.
